This spring, Julia Bullock and her frequent piano partner, John Arida, embarked on a North American recital tour. Bullock displays her remarkable versatility with a diverse program of songs in German, French, and English. Equally comfortable singing the Schubert lieder, Barber’s “Hermit Songs,” and pieces from jazz favorites like Nina Simone, Bullock’s performance is hailed as “spectacular” (Broadway World). The tour features master classes and local school performances in each city, as well as dates at New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, and Boston’s Celebrity Series.
